Babka lovers, here's some news that should delight you: this Wednesday, May 31, Sarah and Emmanuel Murat open a new Babka Zana address in the center of Paris! We're off to 8, rue du Pas de la Mule, to discover this new coffee-shop-style spot!
Whereas at the first address, you could only take Babka Zana's babkas and other delights away with you, this second address, just a stone's throw from Place des Vosges, has 12 seats, so you can sit back and relax all day long, from breakfast to afternoon tea!
The menu features Babka Zana classics, from babkas and hallot to rugelah, bostock, mouna and the creations of the month. There's also a selection of hot drinks and fresh fruit juices.
For lunch, this second spot offers a wider range of savoury dishes. The signature Reuben, Tunisian and Sabich sandwiches and the much-loved Borekas are all on offer, as are new Levantine flavours, with salads, tartines and all kinds of dips to be found on the à la carte menu!
Note that everything is prepared the same day and put together at lunchtime to guarantee the freshness of salads, toast and sandwiches.
Finally, those in search of the secrets behind the babkas that have the whole of Paris in a frenzy can now pick up the house's first recipe book, on sale in the boutique.
In short, this is an address where you'll love to relax all day long!
