If you live in the 18th arrondissement , and especially in the Lamarck district, this is the bakery you absolutely must try! At Atelier P1, the artisan bakers want to make real bread like you don't see much of these days: nourishing, healthy and, above all, tasty, just like in the old days! Our breads are made with ancient wheat flour, purchased from small millers and not hybridized. All ingredients are 100% organic, and the products are lovingly crafted in the bakery before your very eyes.
You can buy special breads, organic pastries, sweet and savoury tarts, with a vegan option, only with seasonal fruit and vegetables to respect nature, sourdough focaccia, healthy sandwiches and tasty pastries! You'll even find coffee (Esperanza Café), tea (Bonthés) and homemade lemonades and iced teas. Sourdough breads are available by the slice or by the piece, and some are gluten-free if you're intolerant. Depending on your tastes, try our dried fruit and walnut bread, or our rice and buckwheat flour bread.
When it comes to pastries, we highly recommend the tasty fruit tarts(if you come across apricot, you'll be telling us all about it!), but cookies, monocles, financiers, cinnamon rolls or babkas will quickly become indispensable in your life as soon as you've tasted them!
A bakery close to its customers, Atelier P1 also welcomes the curious who want to learn how to make their own sourdough bread! Every Wednesday, from 3pm to 6pm, you're invited to the bakery to learn all about the secrets of making this organic bread, for a fee of 90 euros. Knead, shape and bake - everyone gets involved!
Afterwards, everyone will be able to taste their creationswith local French produce, and leave with the recipe and a small jar of 100% natural sourdough. Children are also welcome, accompanied by their parents. Please note that all workshops must be booked in advance, and fill up quickly, so don't delay!
