The French Bastards, famous for reinventing the Parisian bakery, opens the doors of its new boulangerie-pâtisserie at 60 rue de Sèvres in the 7th arrondissement. Following the success of their first boutique in the 11th arrondissement, this fifth address promises a unique experience. Located on the corner of rue Pierre Leroux, the 120 m² bakery blends harmoniously into a chic neighborhood, blending luxury boutiques and gastronomic delights.
The new address offers a brutalist, contemporary atmosphere, signed by the HYPNOS studio, known for its work with Ojii. Co-founders Julien Abourmad, David Abehsera and Emmanuel Gunther chose a bold aesthetic, blending wood and concrete, to create a space that is both designer and welcoming. The interior, with its waxed concrete and shades of chocolate wood, highlights the brand's generous offer ofcomfort food.
The French Bastards offer products that are as good as they are beautiful. This new boutique is no exception, with original, gourmet creations such as the famous chocolate cruffin or the BCBG, a brioche filled with spread and cookie chips. The brand makes a point of respecting the environment, while meeting our expectations.
The rue de Sèvres boutique offers a wide range of viennoiseries, innovative sandwiches and traditional breads, to suit all tastes. Special mention goes to the ultra-generous pain au chocolat. New products included the Sando Chicken and Vegetables. From now on, vegans will also have a choice of lunchtime eateries.
From November 16 to 30, you'll be able to enjoy the exclusive pistachio flan, a short-lived speciality. This patisserie perfectly represents the innovative spirit of the bakery, blending French tradition with creative touches. The flan, a classic Parisian pastry, is revisited with the addition of pistachio and a pistachio praline insert, offering a rich flavor and attractive color.
For lovers of festive treats, the bakery will be offering a selection of pastries and Yule logs from December 6. And to celebrate Epiphany, from January 2, the famous galette des rois will be available, followed by a special edition to mark the fifth anniversary of the opening of the first boutique. And we assure you, this galette is a real treat!
The French Bastards has opened its doors at 60 rue de Sèvres, 75007 Paris. Open Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm, and Saturday, 8.30am to 8pm. It's an invitation to discover a bakery like no other, where tradition and innovation, but above all gourmandise, meet to simply delight you.
