The French Bastards bakery, renowned for its ultra-gourmet, even downright decadent creations, is celebrating its 5th anniversary with an exceptional Galette des Rois. Yes, the 3 partners have been delighting us with their generous creations for 5 years now. For this anniversary, two versions of the galette are on offer, embodying gourmandise, innovation and tradition for purists.

To mark the anniversary, a limited edition of the galette has been created, inspired by a classic bakery product: the pain au chocolat. The galette is distinguished by its cover of chocolate mini-pains, combining aesthetic appeal with a variety of textures. Key ingredients include Isigny Sainte-Mère butter puff pastry, almond cream frangipane and milk Gianduja chocolate sticks. Available only from January 5 to 7, 2024, this galette for 6-8 people is priced at 55€, limited to 500 copies.

The Galette Frangipane Amande, meanwhile, is a long-awaited annual classic. Its reputation is built on its rich frangipane content and crisp texture. Simple in appearance, it requires all the expertise of Julien Abourmad, executive chef and co-founder, and his team. This year, it features The French Bastards customized beans. Available in three sizes, it is on sale throughout January. Count €5.90 for the individual, €29 for the 4/6 person and €39 for the 6/8 person.
