Rue des Bernardins, a stone's throw from the Pont de l'Archevêché (linking the Latin Quarter to the Île de la Cité), nestles a coffeeshop where you can come all day long. Simple, friendly or family-friendly (if you prefer), it's a little bubble of tranquillity where you can enjoy lunch, a snack or one of the excellent specialty coffees served hot or fresh.

Le Bon Moment was the first name that came to mind for Haiyi, founder of the eponymous coffeeshop, when she was looking for a place to look after her daughter alongside her working hours, while staying close to her daughter's school. A former restaurateur in the neighborhood, she launched her own coffeeshop in July 2022, a place where people feel good, open at any time of day: for breakfast, lunch, snacks... Here, everything is homemade, from the delicious sponge cake served with homemade banana whipped cream (and sprinkled with edible glitter!) to the cards, which Haiyi paints herself by hand.

The menu offers a wide range of sweet and savoury options, and changes with the seasons: specialty coffees, matcha and chai lattes, signature lattes with taro, crème brûlée or chestnut, ultra-fresh smoothies... Time for a comforting or refreshing break, summer or winter.

On the savory side, you can opt for the house specialties, which fuse different cuisines: French, Chinese (Haiyi's country of origin), Korean and Japanese. For example, her Japanese onigiri are served with a Chinese sauce that only she knows the secret of, her avocado toasts are spiced up with a hint of yuzu lemon (as they are prepared in China), her green omelette is mixed with vegetables... Prices range from €10 to €15.

On the sweet side, the focus is on excellent specialty coffees (based on top-of-the-range Brazilian coffee), which Haiyi selects with the utmost care, before preparing them as slow coffees, hot or cold drinks, or selling them under the Le bon moment brand, which she recently registered. The menu also includes iced mochi, acai or skyr bow ls for breakfast or a balanced break, cookies, cakes, pancakes and more.

In the end, it's a bit like being at home: for the kids, we love the space dedicated to them, with children's books that Haiyi regularly buys from a bookshop on rue Mouffetard, toys, board games... Adults are also welcome to sit in thechildren's area and browse through a book. A great address to discover for telecommuting, snacking with the kids or lunching with colleagues in the Latin Quarter!
