A gourmet market just the way we like it! The Marché des Cuisines du Monde will bring together chefs, restaurateurs and producers from 43 countries and almost 10 different French regions on the historic site of the Marché Bastille.
Sponsored by Guillaume Gomez, former head chef at the Élysée Palace and now France's Ambassador for Gastronomy, this event is the ideal opportunity to explore the culinary traditions of five continents. Producers, restaurateurs and culinary ambassadors from around the world will be on hand to share their culinary heritage. From Algeria to Vietnam, via Peru, China, Italy, Senegal and Polynesia, visitors will be able to watch live cooking demonstrations and savour a multitude of authentic and sometimes little-known dishes.
The market will also showcase French terroirs and producers from the Île-de-France region, enabling visitors to discover or rediscover local produce and French gastronomic specialities in a convivial atmosphere.
In addition to culinary stands, the Cuisines du Monde Market will feature dance performances and cookbook presentations: a true celebration of culinary and cultural diversity, where each country represented will have the opportunity to showcase its know-how and traditions!
