What would the world be without music? Not much... And what would a year be without festivals? Terrible, I can tell you. But let me reassure you, there are plenty of music festivals in Paris and the Ile-de-France region. What's more, every year, new ones even make their appearance on Ile-de-France soil.
Summer or not, music festivals are always in the news. From staples such as We Love Green in the east of the capital and Solidays in western Paris, as well as Days Off, Rock En Seine, Fête de l'Huma and Les Inrocks Festival, to newer ones such as Festival Chorus, Lollapalozza Paris and Cercle Festival... There's something for everyone! Yes, 2024 is shaping up to be another musically rich year, and that's something to keep our ears happy!
These music festivals are also an opportunity to take over venues that have perhaps never been visited before, such as theHippodrome Paris-Longchamp, the Philharmonie de Paris, the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud, Base 217 in Essonne, the Seine Musicale and not forgetting the Bois de Vincennes... green venues for some and mythical for others, where the festivals feel so at home that they return every year to bring their live music to life.
When it comes to musical styles, once again, every possible genre is represented. From the rap of Gazo & Tiakola to the rock of The Libertines and PJ Harvey, from the electro of Justice and Paula Temple to the psychedelic soul of Black Pumas... Here's the program!
