There used to be Dimanches au Galop, but now we count on theHippodrome as a family, on Saturdays and Sundays, sometimes even both days!
The formula remains more or less the same, with the ambition of attracting families to the racecourse with low-price tickets for parents (€5 online, €10 on site) and free tickets for children under 12. Children can touch horses, see stables, enjoy sack races and discover their vocation as jockeys, while parents will have to resist the urge to bet on the day's races. It's an opportunity to discover the obstacle courses on the legendary tracks of Parisian racecourses: Paris-Longchamp, Auteuil and Saint-Cloud. Children can even cheer on the champions all the way to the finishing post, and above all, discover the equestrian world of France Galop.
New this year is an immersive adventure: called Fringant's Challenges, it allows pitchounes to discover the world of horse racing in a really fun way! To round off a day at the Hippodrome with the whole family, France Galop is also offering guided tours of the Hippodrome to take a behind-the-scenes look at how a day at the races is organized. Price: €12 per person.
This is a great opportunity to enjoy a family day away from the hustle and bustle of Paris, with racehorses from four of Paris' racecourses, thanks toHippodrome en famille ! France Galop organizes a number of events throughout the year, with free entertainment including a carousel, pony rides and foodtrucks all weekend long.
