For Christmas 2024, chocolatier and artist sculptor Patrick Roger is offering, as usual, a collection of Christmas chocolates, as well as an original bûche. As a "Meilleur Ouvrier de France Chocolatier", his chocolate creations are naturally stunning!
This year, Patrick Roger has gone back to his youth and brought you a collection with the flavour of... peas! The Bûche de Noel 2024 represents a tin to be stacked like a chamboule-tout, to be broken with the wool sock also made of chocolate. Both feature a Madagascar chocolate shell, decorated with allegories.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of Patrick Roger 's apprenticeship , and this Bûche and this collection echo the dinners after a hard day's work when he ate a tin of peas for 15 centimes... For the occasion, he is also bringing out a pea tartlet with plain ganache, peas and a Madagascar chocolate shell.
But for the festive season, Patrick Roger is focusing on more than just his pea-flavored creations: chocolate truffles, but also chestnut truffles; a tartelette bogue with hazelnut praline and whole hazelnuts, almond paste and a Madagascar dark chocolate shell; and chocolate half-spheres, as pretty to look at as they are good to eat.
This year, the chocolatier unveils 3 new half-sphere recipes: chocolate caramel, chestnut caramel and sudachi ganache. As usual, they explode in the mouth upon tasting - a real treat. To be found in Patrick Roger's Paris boutiques , as well as online in December.
