Neil Young is preparing to return to the stage for a new North American and European tour. Scheduled for his 80th birthday in 2025, the tour will include stops in Bergen, Norway, Copenhagen, Denmark, Berlin, Germany and London, UK. In France, the Canadian-American singer and guitarist will perform a one-off, not-to-be-missed concert on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at theAdidas Arena. This will be the only indoor concert on this European tour, entitled"Love Earth Tour". What about tickets? Gérard Drouot Productions andAdidas Arena presale tickets go on sale on Wednesday March 26 at 10am. General sales open on Thursday March 27 at 10am.
For this new tour, Neil Young will not be accompanied by his faithful band Crazy Horse. This time, the Toronto native will be surrounded by his new band, The Chrome Hearts, featuring organist Spooner Oldham and guitarist Micah Nelson.
On February 18, Neil Young teased this new tour. " Music unites! We'll be there with you! Join us all to celebrate the summer of democracy. Old songs and new songs. Old words and new words. [...] We'll meet again this summer. The Chrome Hearts and I are ready for you, " he wrote.
As the artist confides, new songs should be performed for the occasion. Neil Young completed his first album with his new band, The Chrome Hearts. Together, they unveiled the single " Big Change " last December.
But Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts are also set to honor the artist's early successes and revisit some of his earlier hits, such as " Heart of Gold ", " Harvest Moon " and " Ohio ".
