We're off to Marcel and Marcelle 's brother's to enjoy a hearty gourmet breakfast at Chez Marlon. Marlon is a restaurant that opened in 2017 and offers Californian cuisine. This restaurant-coffee shop is open all day long and serves breakfast from 10am to 12pm, Monday to Friday (brunch on Saturdays and Sundays).
The menu features avocado toast, giant pancakes, French toast, strawberry waffles and huevos rancheros. In this restaurant, everything is homemade, from fresh fruit juices to granola.
For my part, I fell in love with the gluten-free homemade granola, made with super-light coconut yoghurt, mango coulis, homemade granola, honey and fresh mint - a delight!
We appreciate the filter coffee, a welcome change from burnt coffees, and we're seduced by the gourmet French to ast combining cinnamon, caramel and banana.
Fans of pep will be tempted by the huevos rancheros, a kind of tortilla with a spicy tomato sauce. While the traditionalists will stick to bacon eggs and toasted muffins.
A la carte dishes range from €9 to €15, so you can enjoy a delicious meal at a reasonable price when you know that everything is homemade.
Bon appétit!
Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
