Let's go to the 11th district, a few steps away from theAtelier des Lumières to discover @unreve, a new café-tea room that marries perfectly the good dishes of coffee shop with Chinese and Asian flavors. Here, everything is fresh, made on the spot and homemade. Why @unreve you may ask? Simply because it's Estelle's dream come true here.
At the entrance, we discover the pastry counter which reveals a nice range of sweets to discover. You can find some classics like the vanilla-Baileys version of the Flan or the Paris-Brest with homemade almond-hazelnut praline, but also and above all some exotic ones. Let yourself be seduced by the cococoffee tart in the shape of a rose, which combines sweet cocoa paste, creamy chocolate, coffee praline, coconut dacquoise, milk chocolate ganache, coconut chantilly and crumble.
The black sesame Litchi cloud and the pineapple Earl Grey are a nice discovery for those who like to experiment. Count between 4€ and 7,50€ per pastry.
Let's go to the dining room for a gourmet break. The place, with its light tones, uncluttered and relaxing, is open from 9:30 am to 8:00 pm and welcomes you for breakfast, lunch, snacks and of course for the weekend brunch . On nice days, a terrace awaits you in front of the tea room.
During our visit, we were tempted by the Matcha Latte and the Sesame Latte, as delicious as beautiful, we love it. The sesame croissant is just perfect, the matcha pancakes, topped with praline, fruits, caramel and hazelnuts are decadent and can be swallowed.
On the salty side, we choose the surprising marriage between the croissant and the simmered pork. Add to that pickled radish and fermented cabbage, marinated egg and lamb's lettuce and you have an unexpected dish that we ate with pleasure.
The Fried Chicken Toast is also very appealing. Homemade bread wrapped with egg, spring onions and black sesame, topped with fried chicken and served with a Tianmian sauce and roasted cherry tomatoes, it's a delight .
Finally , we recommend the funny Chinese black sesame fritters, a fried fritter married with mochi, and accompanied by a cherry sauce on which sweetened condensed milk is poured. So yes, it can be confusing but you have to try it to get an idea .
In short, how about a new original coffee shop ?
