In Paris, tea rooms have multiplied in recent years. Unusual tea rooms, chic tea rooms or even Japanese tea rooms... there is now something for every taste and every desire. And the craze for these tea rooms is not about to stop. Moreover, new establishments will soon open their doors in the capital. This is notably the case of Chez Yumi. Announced for January 2023, this Japanese teahouse is likely to tickle the taste buds of many gourmets looking for novelties for this new year.
Behind Chez Yumi, we find Kayane. If her name is unknown to you, it is absolutely not for the important community of gamers. Kayane, whose real name is Marie-Laure Norindr, is indeed a famous video game player. After starting tournaments at the age of 9, she quickly became THE fighting game champion. The e-sport star has 67 podiums to her credit. " I was the first fighting game champion ", says Kayane in a recent interview with Le Parisien.
In 2023, the champion, who is also a presenter on the Game One channel, is embarking on a new adventure with the opening of her very first Japanese tea room. Named Chez Yumi (in reference to her dog's name), this new gourmet establishment is expected to open in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, and more precisely at N°128 of the rue Saint-Maur.
I've been working on a secret project for a few months now 🤫 I can finally announce it!!!
