Starred Asian restaurant Imperial Treasure has opened its first Parisian restaurant in the La Clef Champs-Elysées hotel!

After conquering numerous Asian cities and, more recently, the English capital, Imperial Treasure arrives in Paris, at theHôtel La Clef Champs-Elysées, a stone's throw from the world's most beautiful avenue.

With 5 Michelin stars (2 Michelin stars for the Shanghai restaurant and 1 star for those in Singapore and Hong Kong), Imperial Treasure knows how to delight gourmets who love authentic Chinese cuisine .

Here, the dishes on offer are those of Chaozhou cuisine, originating in the Chaoshan region of eastern Guangdong province, and are the work of Alfred Leung. But what exactly does it look like on the plate?

To discover the diversity of this cuisine, we let ourselves be gently guided, as the menu is long and well-stocked. To begin with, we were delighted by the Iberian pluma, lacquered with honey, a real delicacy; and by several kinds of ravioli: vegetable ravioli and, above all, the unmissable Shanghai xiaolongbao with pork. We sip the hot broth all the way through!

To continue, we devour the wok-fried Carabinero imperial shrimps with glutinous rice, then test our taste buds' resistance with the spicy chicken with Sichuan chilli and cashew nuts. For those who love mouth-warming dishes!

We then let ourselves be tempted by the5-spice lamb, presented in a rather fun way, in small bites to be eaten with the fingers. A real delight. And to finish on a sweet note, we try the cream of mango, pomelo and sago pearls- a nice touch!

The opening of Imperial Treasure in the La Clef Champs-Elysées hotel was accompanied by the inauguration of the Liu Ling bar, where you can sip long and short cocktails made from a variety of Asian spirits!

Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
