The second address of Camille and Maxime, founders of the restaurant Crème, Comptoir de Crème is just a few meters away. This small eatery offers plates to share, in a convivial atmosphere.

Camille Coiffard and Maxime Guillemet , already behind Crème, have opened a second address just a few yards away, Comptoir de Crème. With its green frontage and the gourmets seated at the counter facing the street, this new restaurant is a real eye-catcher.

With its mini format, there's no need to worry about being cramped. But if the room is small, it's also very well laid out! Very convivial, the restaurant almost makes you want to share your plate with the people sitting next to you. Large carafe of water, candlesticks with flowing wax, cutlery in steel pots: here, the atmosphere is relaxed, but not without being trendy.

Inspirations range from the typically Parisian croque-monsieur to South American ceviche. As for the wines, here again, the menu takes you on a voyage, with French, Italian and Corsican vintages... But it's also possible to opt for a signature cocktail, a draught beer and, of course, non-alcoholic drinks.

The menu features ten savory plates and two sweet ones, with the restaurant recommending three savory plates for two diners, accompanied by a dessert for sweet fans. Meaty, iodized or vegetarian, the tapas are as varied as they are varied.

For a gourmet option, the croque monsieur with truffle, comté cheese, ham and truffled béchamel is a delight! With delicate notes of truffle in the heart of the béchamel, it's not too heavy. The three-cheese arancini are also worth a detour. Served in threes, they're comforting, although we'd have loved a little extra sauce to dip them in.

Cod ceviche with coconut milk orroasted eggplant with tahini sauce are sure to delight vegetarians. Copiously served, the ceviche is marinated in coconut milk with cucumber and fresh mint. The roasted eggplants are beautifully dressed and topped with tahini sauce, pomegranate seeds and walnuts. The perfect accompaniment to a glass of chilled white wine!

If you've still got room for dessert, we've fallen in love with the house chocolate mousse . Presented in a canteen-style steel bowl, it's served with olive oil on top and a pinch of coarse salt. Thick and gourmet, it's worth the detour. For those less addicted to chocolate, the second dessert that evening was a bowl of two scoops of fruit sorbet. Plates to share until dessert!

Le Comptoir de Crème makes you want to stay for hours, chatting, sharing plates and drinking good wine. A successful gamble for Camille Coiffard and Maxime Guillemet, who have created a second address that makes us want to discover the first!
