Meat lovers, a new 100% meat spot has just opened in Paris's 11th arrondissement, and Mamie Bidoche is sure to delight you!

In the mood for a good flank steak? A new meat paradise has just opened in the 11th arrondissement. The spot is run by the same team as Papy aux Fourneaux, who apply the same recipe here: ultra-well-sourced meats, finely selected cuts and a family atmosphere.

Stepping inside Mamie Bidoche's door is like stepping back in time, thanks to a decor found here and there, flowery wallpaper, long benches to welcome large groups of friends, a china cabinet to make your grandmother dream and an amazing table glued... to the ceiling!

On the à la carte menu, you can take the time to learn a little more about the meats on offer and the lives of their breeders, before indulging, in fine weather, in a homemade lemonade, a craft beer or one of the cocktails on offer, such as the Vache Violette (7€, Mont Blanc vodka, grape juice, lemon), the Papy Jean (7€; Périgord gin, lemon juice, house rosemary syrup, sparkling water) or Mémé Fraise (7€; strawberry fuzo, hibiscus, tonic).

At Mamie Bidoche, the menu is clear and concise. You choose your meat and sauce. After that, it's up to you to decide whether you'd prefer pork chop (17€), sirloin of beef (22€) or veal (26€). What we can tell you is that these meats are cooked to perfection, at low temperature, for a melt-in-your-mouth result.

As for sauces, there's a choice of two fairly classic ones, shallot or pepper; and two more original ones: the ginger marinade d'amour and the maroilles'fromage qui pue' sauce.

As for the sides, it's the same for everyone: a generous portion of crunchy fries, cooked in beef fat, and a walnut salad with soy vinaigrette, for freshness and a clear conscience.

For dessert, we recommend the brioche perdue with salted butter caramel and chantilly (7.5€) and the seasonal fruit crumble (currently apples with calvados; 6.5€), but if you prefer the homemade chocolate mousse (6.5€), that's up to you!

In short, Mamie Bidoche is the new meat lover's paradise!
