From July 27 - the date of the first day of events at the 2024 Olympic Games - and until September 8 - the date of the last day of events at the Paris Paralympic Games - the Parc de la Légion d'Honneur, a green lung just a stone's throw from the Stade de France and the Saint-Denis Basilica, will be on Paris 2024 Games time. Welcome to the Playground, the spot where sport and party become one!
During the summer, the Parc de la Légion d'Honneur in Saint-Denis is required to broadcast the Paris 2024 Games, and is transformed for the occasion into a veritable venue dedicated to leisure and sports. On the program? Take advantage of the artificial beach, sports and water activities, as well as the many free events planned throughout the summer, in honor of the Olympic Games.
If you want to cool off with the whole family, you can take advantage of the aqualudic platform for all-day swimming, or try your hand at surfing. On the sports front, a host of activities have been designed to introduce youngsters to a variety of Olympic disciplines: table tennis, archery, soccer, rugby, basketball, badminton, beach volleyball, sandball, boxing, fencing, athletics, accrobranche... The program even includes e-sport (video game) competitions, as well as educational games offered by the city's toy libraries.
Throughout the Olympic and Paralympic Games, all events will be broadcast from the Playground. A refreshment bar and foodtrucks will also be on site. So come along to the Playground to follow the sporting events from July 27 to August 11 (Olympic events) and then from September 4 to 8 (Paralympic events), as well as from September 14 to 3 for summer activities in Saint-Denis.
