The Game Awards, the video game equivalent of the Oscars, were held in Los Angeles on the night of December 7-8, 2023. Who is the GOTY (Game of the Year)? Which games won awards? Discover the winners!
It's the most eagerly-awaited event of the year for video game fans: the Game Awards, the awards ceremony that recognizes the best games of the year, in some thirty categories. For this latest edition, Canadian journalist and host Geoff Keighley is once again at the helm of the ceremony. He invited us to attend the event on the night of December 7-8, 2023, via live streaming. The event could be followed on Twitch and YouTube.
The Game Awards are also an opportunity for video game studios to unveil their next titles, new trailers or release dates, sometimes creating some nice surprises! But what we're all really looking forward to, of course, is discovering the voting results, and which winners we'll be able to add to our Santa list. In our sights, the GOTY (Game of the Year), of course, which will undoubtedly see its sales soar before the holidays.
It's also an opportunity for gamers to get an idea of the best games of the moment to give as Christmas presents or put under the tree. All you have to do is make your choice... To your controllers!
