Paris Sports Ball: voguing during the Olympic Games at the Parc des Champions du Trocadéro

During the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, you'll have the opportunity to watch a wide range of sports, not only during the events, but also at the events organized around the competition. On August 1, 6 and 8, 2024, right in the middle of the Olympics, Champions Park , located on Place du Trocadéro, will host a free voguing show that promises to be exceptional, in the same place where our French medallists will commune with their public!

The Legendary Vinii Revlon, associate dancer at La Gaîté Lyrique, and the dancers from the House of Revlon are set to celebrate bodies and diversity by immersing themselves in the world of voguing, a dance culture with its roots in the racialized LGBT+ communities of 80s New York. During the Paris Sports Ball, they will compete in artistic battles paying homage to Olympic sports, to highlight the spirit of the Games.

As part of theCultural Olympiad and Voguing on Tour, La Gaîté Lyrique's touring program, this event brings together three artistic proposals, by Angelin Preljocaj, a leading figure in French contemporary dance, Mourad Merzouki, an emblematic choreographer on the hip hop scene, and Vinii Revlon, a voguing legend.
