Although not the most popular arrondissement for party-goers, Paris' 15th arrondissement is nonetheless appreciated by families for its peaceful atmosphere. Airy, green and residential, it's one of the capital's largest arrondissements.
From wide avenues lined withHaussmann-style buildings to narrow lanes lined with local shops, the 15th arrondissement is divided into several neighborhoods, each more pleasant than the last. From the bustling Grenelle district to the bourgeois village-like Vaugirard district and the Javel neighborhood, the arrondissement also boasts large green spaces, such as the immense 14-hectare Parc André Citroën and the more hilly Parc Georges Brassens.
Did you know? As well as being one of the oldest arteries, rue de Vaugirard is also the longest in Paris, stretching for no less than 4.4 kilometers across the southwest of the capital.
Discover the Vaugirard, Javel and Grenelle districts, once dedicated to the production of wine, stone and gas, but also the cradle of Parisian art - Chagall, Modigliani and Brancusi all had their studios in the La Ruche artists' housing estate, now a listed monument.
This way to good addresses and good deals!
