The Yvelines 2024 Best Patisserie competition, organized by the Fédération de boulangerie-pâtisserie des Yvelines et de l'Essonne, took place in Sonchamp in September. Top of the list was Daniel Agil, a promising young chef from the Gare Ô Pains patisserie in Méré, who shone by winning gold in the "employee" category. The competition showcases local talent, who compete with daring and creativity to present the best paris-brest and apple tarts.
