Gourmets and gourmands go without hesitation to Caïus, a restaurant located in the 17th arrondissement, near Place de l'Etoile. Run by Chef Jean-Marc Notelet, Caïus has been delighting the taste buds of local gourmets for the past fifteen years.
Gourmet bistro cooking and ingredients that go together to create a complete alchemy on the plate. As for the menu, it changes more or less with each service, depending on the market and the chef's mood. As a result, you never eat the same thing at Caïus, although certain dishes return regularly, such as Agria gnocchi with parmesan sauce and truffle strips.
A dish that the editorial team was able to sample, and our verdict is clear: it's divine. The blend of flavors is exquisite and of rare finesse, as are the other dishes we sampled: pâté de grand-mère Caïus et son pickle, braised pollack and Pontoise cabbage, sea bream au couteau... The products are finely crafted and the dishes are seasoned to perfection. The icing on the cake? A chocolate tart with fleur de sel, accompanied by a scoop of coffee ice cream. In short, we'll be back with pleasure!
The ideal restaurant for savouring good food. Shall we go, friends?
Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
