Calling all culinary adventurers! We offer you to enjoy a new tasty experience in the heart of Paris. In early, a stone’s throw from the Grand Rex, a new delicious food counter opened up at 47 rue Poissonnière. Here is Momo House, the new great spot making you taste to Nepalese and Tibetan street-food.
You are welcomed by the owner of the restaurant. Coming from Tibet and living in Paris for over 20 years, he devoted himself to this mission of making you discover street food from his birth country. You are here in a Momo’s bar, a Nepalese version of dumpling, 100% homemade, coming in with three stuffing recipes: vegetarian (mushroom, cabbage, onion, potato, carrot, cilantro), beef or chicken. Each of these recipes is topped with traditional Nepalese spices.
Then, choose the cooking: steamed, fried, soup, or spicy. As a side, you can go for rice or salad. Once you are done choosing, the stoves are heating up. Recipes are made in front of you, to order, in the open-plan kitchen. As an outcome? A huge heart-stopping dish: dumplings are smooth, flavorful. The bravest of you can ask for a homemade spicy sauce, but careful, it blows you away!
Moving on to prices, this is a bargain: allow €9 for 8 steamed or fried momos, €10 for the soup version, and €10.50 for the fried spicy momos. The restaurant serves takeout or delivery via Deliveroo.
