As everyone knows, summer is the season for music festivals. It's at this time of year that artists take to the roads of France to perform at the many and varied festivals, and to make music lovers' hearts skip a beat.
A number of music festivals are also held in the capital every summer, including the Solidays festival at Paris-Longchamp, as well as the Days Off festival, which presents new works at the Philharmonie de Paris every year. And let's not forget Rock en Seine at the Domaine national de Saint Cloud, which has welcomed talented national and international artists since its inception.
Other must-see music festivals in Paris and the Île-de-France region? The Django Reinhardt festival in Seine-et-Marne, the La Défense Jazz Festival and the Paris Jazz Festival for jazz fans, as well as Fnac Live, which offers free concerts every summer on the square in front of the Hôtel de Ville, the Macki Festival and Elektric Park for electronic music fans, and the famous and legendary Fête de l'Huma, which attracts large numbers of spectators and activists every year.
Please note that Lollapalooza Paris will not be held this year in 2024. The next edition is scheduled for 2025.
