For the Ete du Canal 2024, the Seine-Saint-Denis tourist office invites you to take part in a river escapade on the Canal de l'Ourcq, where you'll feel almost like you're in the countryside for a day.

Let's board! Every Saturday and Sunday in July and August, take to the open air from the banks of the Quais de l'Ourcq in Pantin. It's here, at the Paris departure point of the Ourcq Canal, that you can embark on a two-hour cruise along this lovely waterway, with commentary by a local guide.

From the Magasins généraux, you'll discover the canal via its most beautiful avenue: the Ourcq. During your cruise, you'll pass by the Conservatoire national de danse, the greener banks of Bondy, skirt the Parc de la Bergère in Bobigny, and finally arrive at the Parc de la Poudrerie in Sevran, a little-known green nugget well worth a detour.

And that's just as well, because the cruise is a one-way trip, giving you the chance to take your bike on board and return along thecycle route (easy and accessible to all). It's also a good idea to bring your own picnic or snack to eat in the park (otherwise, there's a refreshment bar on site)! This bucolic cruise costs €18 per adult, €15 per child under 12, and children under 4 are free.
