In this little Parisian showcase, Emma Duvéré honors recipes that are both simple and delicious. At the counter, you'll fall for a madeleine, a flan or a cheesecake. Cheesecake is one of the house's most popular must-haves, and we have to admit, its lightness and taste have won us over. Imagine a light, sugar-balanced vanilla version, almost reminiscent of a tiramisu. Alongside the cakes and cookies, seasonal tarts such as this delicious fig tart as we passed through, and viennoiseries such as the cinnamon roll brioche, complete the gourmet offering.
On the savory side, Emma and her team renew their menu every week, inspired by arrivals from local producers. From quiche to vegetable soups (it was watercress soup for us), bowls and daily specials, everything is designed to reflect the best of seasonal produce. For our part, we tried a good vegetarian bun sandwich with halloumi roasted in hazelnut oil, tomato, lettuce and homemade pesto. To try it is to adopt it.
For those in a hurry, a lunch menu is available from Wednesday to Friday, from 12pm to 3pm. And for weekend gourmets, it's impossible to resist our famous homemade croque-monsieur, made with soft bread, zaatar béchamel and melted cheese, available in vegetarian or meat versions using carefully selected ingredients.
In the afternoon, indulge in the tea time option at 19€, which includes a pastry, cookie or viennoiserie, a hot drink, a cold drink and a mignardise.
Weekends are also brunch time at Emma Duvéré. For €29, you're treated to a full menu, from a homemade granola verrine to a quiche or croque-monsieur, as well as a viennoiserie or gourmet dessert to take away. All accompanied by carefully sourced beverages, such as organic coffee from Beans on Fire or artisan teas from Parti du Thé.
Emma Duvéré doesn't just try to delight our taste buds, she also pays particular attention to her environmental impact. Labelled 3 Écotable, the patisserie favours organic products, short circuits and seasonal produce, reducing waste as much as possible. A fine example is the use of returnable containers for takeaways, in partnership with the Vytal Consigne network, and the sale of unsold goods at -50% via a dedicated Instagram account.
Emma Duvéré is above all a story of passion. Originally from Normandy, she grew up in a family of restaurateurs, and it was in 2017, following a retraining, that she opened this patisserie in the 11th arrondissement. At her side, Isabelle, a computer scientist by training, welcomes customers with warmth and kindness, making sure everyone feels at home. Dogs are welcome, and are even given their own photo to decorate the already well-stocked wall.
With its friendly atmosphere and homemade treats, Emma Duvéré is the kind of neighborhood nugget we love. Well-made artisanal products, all with a smile, we're back for more. Note that the place is open non-stop, Wednesday to Sunday, 9am to 6pm.
