Do you like cheese? If so, you’ll love Beau et Fort. This ultra-gourmet spot nestled in Paris 9th arrondissement could be described as a cheese-shop-restaurant or a restaurant-cheese-shop, we don’t know. If we should put words on this address, we would rather say that it’s a living place evolving around a very Frenchy passion: cheese.
The brains behind the curtain, two cheese enthusiasts: Damien Richardot and Pierre Gay, cheese best craftsman in France. Together they came up with this spot mixing both a love for crafts and the freshness of a pop style. As soon as we come in, we cross the cheese part where standard dishes lay before the eyes.
A true cheese Ali Baba’s Cave where we can discover genuine treasures you can’t find anywhere else (or with much trouble). For example, the fée aux fleurs, a fresh and bucolic goat cheese sprinkled with dry flowers that give a divine flavor to the cheese. We really love the Figue one containing in its heart… guess what? Really fresh fig!
Very friendly, it’s a spot made for everyone. Whether it’s for a family brunch, a date dinner, a dinner with friends or to shop some cheese, we come as we are, and we feel like at home. We must say that Beau et Fort endeavors in terms of décor to make of this address a cozy and comfortable place. A light ground floor, a first floor with a sofa we would leave for nothing in the world, a ping-pong table that duals as table… What a trendy spot!
Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
