A very chic Japanese restaurant is about to open its doors this autumn, in the Golden Triangle: UNI Paris.

In the heart of the Golden Triangle, a new Japanese restaurant will be opening in September. With its plush, immersive decor, designed by 2M Architecture Intérieure, this new eatery, whose walls are adorned with a fresco inspired by 18th-century paintings and 17th-century prints, will plunge gourmets into a hushed, traditional Japanese ambience.

Even more hidden, the 8-person private lounge evokes the homes of the samurai, with its traditional seating, tatami mats and rice paper panels. A guaranteed immersion in the land of the Rising Sun! In the kitchen, chef Akmal Anuar draws inspiration for each of his creative dishes from the traditional inrō box (a box for carrying various small objects, attached to the waistband of kimonos with no pockets).

Caviar, truffles, foie gras and A5 wagyu... The finest dishes will be on hand, as will the sea urchin, the restaurant's true muse, celebrated in the chef's signature dishes. To find out more, you'll have to be patient... But the opening of UNI Paris promises a culinary and visual experience that should delight many, come fall!
