Recently opened on the Grands Boulevards, Brasserie Adela sends out fresh dough in an elegant Art Nouveau decor.

First, Adela tickles the taste buds, then the pupils. Recently installed on the Grands Boulevards, this brasserie looks like anaddress from the last century... when, in fact, it's been completely refurbished from cellar to attic. It's impossible to recognize, within these four walls, the former restaurant - John Weng.

With its ochre banquettes, terrazzo tables, painted ceiling, stained-glass window and alcoves, the first floor is matched only by the first floor and its quilted mirror ceiling, which is revealed as you climb the expressively carpeted staircase. The Art Nouveau decor of this new fresh pasta restaurant is the work ofarchitect Jessica Mille, working hand in hand with Ambre Blumenzak.

With Adela, Ambre Blumenzak and Auguste Honoré, who work together both on stage and off, have decided to pay homage to Parisian institutions by focusing on... Italian cuisine! Tagliatelle, casarecce, paccheri, ondine or agnolotti... A true pasta house, fresh pasta is king here.

Lovers of Italian cuisine perhaps, but also trained in the art of fresh pasta by a pasta master, the duo chosequality ingredients for the pasta made by their pasta master, including high-protein wheat flour for perfect al dente cooking, and French meats and vegetables. The cheeses and charcuterie, as well as the olive oil, come from the other side of the Alps, of course.

On the short menu, agnolotti (23€) are dressed with truffle cream, pecorino and pepper in a pecorino sage butter, while casarecce (18.50€) are served with cherry tomatoes and fresh stracciatella. Adela also offers gluten-free pasta on request, for those interested.

But the Maison also offers other Italian specialties, such as market tomato carpaccio (€9.50) topped with smoked scamorza espuma, in which homemade focaccia is happily dipped, or these small arancini alla milanese (€9) with extremely fine, crispy breading, topped with saffron buffala.

For dessert, we can't recommend enough theaffogato (€6.50), a homemade fior di latte ice cream in a coffee mug, drizzled with Italian coffee, Florentine style!
