Regulars at the top of the rankings, awarded time and time again in various competitions for their Little Red Door cocktail bar, mixologists Alex Francis and Barney O'Kane continue to make us long for the opening of their promised new project combining mixology and gastronomy: De Vie.
"No, this is not yet another cocktail bar. Nor is it just another food-and-drink restaurant. De Vie is a philosophy, an art of entertaining and sharing with customers a real signature in the world of drinks, worked like a chef's plates." You've been warned.
More than just a cocktail bar, De Vie will reveal two facets. On one side, you'll be able to drink cocktails on draught, imagined by the duo. On the flip side, a table d'hôte hosted by chef Adam Purcell (ex-Frenchie) will offer a seasonal tasting menu, with signature cocktails echoing the great classics of the genre, as well as a counter-servicesnack menu.
This new address , eagerly awaited by Parisian foodistos, will open next February at 24 rue Saint-Sauveur in the 2nd arrondissement of the capital. So stay tuned to make sure you don't miss out!
