While the holiday season in Paris is synonymous with wonder for many Parisians, with its department store windows, street illuminations, mushrooming Christmas markets and last-minute gift shopping, the beginning of January, on the other hand, always has a special flavor, a little sad, a little cold.
A new restaurant in the Strasbourg Saint-Denis area should help you swallow the pill and bring a little sunshine into your life during these wintry months. Named Buenas, this new Spanish restaurant will open its doors at the beginning of January, bringing sunny dishes with it.
Buenas owner Toufik Seddik's colorful, whimsical decor looks straight out of a Pedro Almodovar film, and he's passionate about Spain, so you'll feel right at home. The same goes for the menu of comforting dishes created by chef Nils Edelman.
Keen to showcase all the regions of Spain, the chef has already lined up a bunch of mouth-watering specialties: patatas bravas, pollo al ajillo negro, tortilla, paëlla solo (!).
Olé!
