Breathing a salty air on Paris rooftops: it’s the refreshing offer of the Centre des Produits de la Mer de Norvège [Norway Sea Products Center] which lay down its fishes and crustaceans on the Perchoir rooftop from December 6 to 9, 2017 in the evening as part of the event Norway x Stories.
On the occasion, the organization redecorates the place in a Scandinavian inspiration with hides, plaids and candles and asks young Norwegian chef Christopher Haatuft to cook nice and tasty meals based on sea products.
The kitchn maestro trained at Norway embassy in Paris before flying to New York where he worked at Per Se and Blue Hill, two renowned restaurants across the Atlantic.
This sustainable food defender is now back in the country and opened in Bergen, fjords capital, his restaurant, the Lysverket, where he highlights products from his land and those coming from fjords.
So, if you’ve nothing planned in the area yet, Norway x Stories seems to be the right compromise to taste his sea cuisine without blowing your budget in plane tickets.
