Le Pétrelle is back to being discreet. After months of work, then a first opening aborted by the sanitary crisis and the return of the confinement, the Pétrelle settles (finally) definitively in the 9th district of Paris. At number 34 rue Pétrelle, almost at the corner with rue de Rochechouart, not far from the Barbès metro station, the restaurant Pétrelle is revealed, without frills.
In the past, it was the chef Jean-Luc André who managed the kitchen, in a somewhat rococo decor. Today, the atmosphere is warm, sober and elegant, with candles, empty frames, beautiful bottles and antique objects. Behind the scenes, we find the chef Lucie Boursier-Mougenot and the sommelier Luca Danti, two former employees of Caves Legrand. The ideal setting to serenely enjoy refined gastronomic meals, prepared with exceptional products from French producers and breeders.
Every week, the menu evolves according to the seasons and the inspirations of the young chef. On the plate, the metamorphosis takes on its full meaning: summer chanterelles accompanied by zucchini flowers and beautiful Roussillon apricots, or roasted Racan guinea fowl with Sologne chanterelles and almonds, in a strong juice. How can you resist?
Open from Wednesday to Sunday, the Pétrelle offers a unique menu, from 52€ in the evening and 28€ at lunchtime, as well as food and wine pairings (3 glasses for 34€) or daily suggestions. On the terrace, four tables for two people have been installed. Above all, the welcome and the service are worthy of the greatest Parisian tables. And now, it's up to you to try!
