The image of Seine-Saint-Denis is one of an urbanized, concrete-packed Parisian suburb, filled with high-rise apartment blocks. A land of heritage, Seine-Saint-Denis is home to the necropolis of the kings and queens of France - the Basilique de Saint-Denis - as well as the world's largest antiques market (Puces de Saint-Ouen), and vast green spaces that would make the Jardin du Luxembourg pale in comparison...
