To mark the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days), the French Ministry of Culture has decided to focus on living heritage and the heritage of sport. Come and discover Seine-et-Marne's key sites from this new angle, on September 21 and 22, 2024.
It's sure to be a busy weekend: with its five departmental museums , dozens of châteaux and 130,000 hectares of woodland, the Seine-et-Marne department has some wonderful walks to offer during the European Heritage Days.
More than 50 European countries taking part, tens of thousands of places to visit... The Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days ) are a great popular and cultural celebration, allowing us to enjoy the most beautiful historical and heritage sites close to home.
For two short days only, we have the opportunity to visit the places that house the masterpieces and history of our country and our region: to be able to discover as many treasures as possible, we need to be well organized and make the best choices!
