Like every year, March 20 is International Meatless Day 2024. A global day that didn't wait for the current (and important!) issues of recent years, concerning animal welfare and global warming, to convince large numbers of people around the world to take part.
In fact, International Meatless Day was established in 1985 (!) in the United States, promulgated under the name'Meat-Out Day' by theFarm Animal Rights Movement (FARM), which has been campaigning for decades for a meat-free diet while fighting for the respect of animals, the preservation of the planet and the improvement of human health.
If you thought this meat-free day was just for vegetarians and vegans, think again! It has also been set up to prove that a world without meat (or at least with less meat) is possible. It's also a way of convincing the last naysayers that a meat-free diet is possible, and can even be downright gourmet!
Forget your preconceptions and prejudices about vegetarian cuisine, which has greatly evolved in recent years, becoming just as naughty and generous as meat-based cuisine. So take the plunge and discover the best places to eat in Paris for Meatless Day 2024, on March 20!
