Christophe Adam has decided to treat you from morning to night! After setting up no fewer than nine L'Eclair de Génie boutiques in the capital, including the pioneering one on rue Pavée, Christophe Adam has set himself a new challenge with the opening of Dépôt Légal.
Nestled in the capital's 2nd arrondissement, this new gourmet address invites Parisians and tourists alike to sample recipes, both savory and sweet, devised by the pastry chef himself.
With its simple, effective motto, " Made With Love ", Dépôt Légal is sure to arouse the curiosity of many a gourmet, thanks to its no-holds-barred, sharing and quality cuisine, based on 100% homemade and fresh produce.
There are four tasting highlights, each with its own gourmet menu: breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and aperitif.
For breakfast, from 8 a.m. to 11.30 a.m., we offer bread from Benoît Castel, homemade granola, instant waffles, the famous kouign amann, a smoothie bowl with fresh fruit and cereals, as well as a range of hot drinks - Lomi coffee and Kodama tea - and freshly squeezed fruit juices. We love the affordable prices, such as the €5 café-tartines, with homemade spreads and jam. And if you're tempted, the grocery section lets you take them home with you.
For lunch, from 11.30 a.m. to 3 p.m., the chef again relies on quality products: a tasty, ultra-fresh salmon or sea bream ceviche made on site, the delicious Vivienne croque made with fresh truffle cheese, Paris ham and Beaufort, creamy burrata served in a tin, cold-cured ginger salmon or a " big toasté " with ham, chicken or salmon, in hot sandwich versions. Smaller appetites will be satisfied with crunchy salads featuring sprouts, mixed seeds, kale and Parmesan shavings. Or try a poke bowl of fresh tuna with mango, avocado and brown rice dressed with coriander vinaigrette.
Gourmets will appreciate the snack offered from 3pm to 6pm. A la carte? A giant profiterole prepared with a creamy chocolate sauce, served directly from a chocolate fountain, but also mini-babas served in a small bento box with a "homemade" citrus arranged rum to dip directly into Chantilly, or a caramelized apple terrine...
Finally, forafterwork from 6pm onwards, there's a choice of cocktails(Gin Gin Mule, Petit-Champ with vodka, strawberry and chilli, Spritz...), accompanied by a tin of mini-sardines, natural charcoal brioche bread spread with truffled tarama or croque finger, a ham and summer truffle croque-monsieur!
For this new gourmet spot, Christophe Adam has surrounded himself with young chef Nicolas Freyche, accompanied by Laure, the pastry chef, Gabriel, the barista/refrigerator and Annabelle, the barmaid.
Open all day long, 7 days a week, from 8am to 11pm, for breakfast, lunch, tea time or an aperitif, Dépôt Légal is sure to be a hit with fans of Christophe Adam's creative cuisine!
There's also a boutique corner, with 6 product ranges comprising 30 items created and produced by the chef. There's also a selection of products under the Dépôt Légal label. So you can take home some great products.
