Even before entering, the tone is set. Harry Nuriev, designer darling of the creative world, puts his inimitable touch to pay tribute to the skills of master glassmakers, illustrating them with engraved graffiti in the ashlar of the "passageway".

A little further inside, just past the Baccarat boutique, the immersion continues with the chapel of light designed by stained glass virtuoso Pierre Tatin, which will soon lead to a garden imagined by Jérémie Attali (patience, it'll be 2025).
Next to it, the grand staircase, overlooked by the Tuzla chandelier and its 157 lights, impresses. The 9,000 crystal pendants are reflected in the Monumental Vase by designer Marcel Wanders, while Jean-Guillaume Mathiaut's raw oak sculptures are displayed all around.

A subtle balance between history and modernity that culminates in the tasting cellar, run by Bernard Neveu, where you can admire Alchimie, a fresco by Gérard Garouste illustrating the elements necessary for the alchemical creation of crystal. In short, you'll be blown away... even before you sit down to eat.

Ducasse's take on the art of the table

We knew he was a master of haute cuisine, but Alain Ducasse has surprised us once again with an experiment he himself describes as " gastro-recreational ". Working alongside Christophe Saintagne and Robin Schroeder, the Michelin-starred chef revisits the art of entertaining with a unique, delicate and slightly offbeat menu, served in a completely revamped dining room, with the works of Jean-Guillaume Mathiaut as a backdrop.

This autumn, we're heading for Provence. For starters, a "squash, coffee, feta" with finesse and character, the simple but colorful "turnips, arugula, honey" or the "Jardin de Provence", a revisited Niçoise salad that dares everything (sorbet, olives, parmesan-charbon granita, pine nuts). As for the main courses, flavors take flight between land and sea with a "blue, white and pink lobster", sublimated by a rose emulsion and tapioca, or a "roasted and candied Norman beef" enhanced with cébette and cocoa nibs.

For dessert, we fall for the fig twisted with honey and olive oil, which would seduce even those who are resistant to this fruit (I plead guilty!), accompanied by walnut shortbread, before moving on to the cheese. Coffee and chocolates from the Ducasse factory round off the lunch in style.
