Whether you're naturally an early sleeper, have a stomach in your heels while out and about, or simply come from a country where it's customary to dine early - like our dear neighbors across the Channel, then you may encounter a minor problem during your stay in Paris: the late opening hours of restaurants at dinnertime.
Indeed, the capital's restaurants generally open their doors in the evening at around 7pm, if not 7:30pm or even 8pm for some addresses. Not easy to live with when you're used to having dinner (or supper, as our Belgian neighbors would say) at 6.30pm or even 6pm. Fortunately, there are a few restaurants in Paris that have adapted to tourist habits and open around 6pm.
Follow the guide below to find out which restaurants will welcome you for a late afternoon meal.
And don't hesitate to take a look at our guide to Paris's continuous-service restaurants, which can cater to your every whim, at any time of day; as well as hotel restaurants , which generally offer a food menu - even a small one - from morning to night.
